E18 executes felicitation dinner for Lafarge India

Lafarge India held a farewell dinner in honour of three of the members of the Board of Directors - Deepak Parekh, V. Narayanan and Thakur. The trio were commemorated for the years of service to the company at the Grand Ballroom at the Taj Mahal Hotel in Colaba, Mumbai on Aug. 17. Of the three directors, Deepak Parekh is to continue as a Director at Lafarge Global's board. The event was a felicitation evening planned by the in-house team at Lafarge and E18 executed the entire event from set production and event technicals to artist management.

The evening started with a performance by Sitar Funk - ace sitar maestro, Niladri Kumar's ensemble. After the entertainment display, the felicitation ceremony commenced, which had the three board directors come up and receive mementos. The evening concluded with cocktails and a dinner for all the guests. This was a musical event with a mix of a 2D and 3D Indian music feel. The sound for this event was managed by SOUND.COM. Showtime managed the lights and video while the set design was managed by Dream Factory.

This event was targeted towards the Lafarge India Board of Directors and their customers and engaged around 150 people. Commenting on the initiative, Farhad Wadia, CEO, E18 said: "They are our client and had approached us for the same. The brief given to us by Lafarge India was to keep the event simple yet classic and we executed the same."
