Elaborating on the event, Deep Bajaj, Head-Alliance, Thyme Advertising and Services said, "We have worked with DLF malls in the past for several events. We handled 'Fashion Forward' for DLF Promenade last year. Most activities at malls engage adults and thus, in order to do something different, DLF organised an event to engage kids this time. We managed a kids fashion show where right from the décor to the stage to the theme and the games, everything was focused on kids and families."
At the venue, a castle shaped stage was created for the children, with king size balloons in the open air plaza of DLF Place Saket. An emcee engaged children and visitors through fun games. Also free promotional vouchers were given away to visitors. Several brands at the mall showcased their collections at the fashion show.
Bajaj added, "To give a nice blend, professional models (kids) were hired to walk the ramp. Also, regular shoppers and children at the mall were invited to attend the event. The event was attended by over 400 families."
Ajay Bisht, of NDTV Makeover fame, was engaged as the choreographer for the event. Each brand had chosen a different theme to add customisation to their segment of the fashion show. Children walking the ramp danced and acted during the fashion shows as well.
Brands like Gini & Jony, MotherCare, UCB and Marks and Spencer, amongst others showcased their collection at the fashion show.
