Attendees at the premiere were Bollywood celebrities and associates of the production house CINERGY, KWAN's sister concern. The event was also attended by representatives of brands endorsed by Shahid Kapoor. As a part of executing the event, the venue was branded with promotional stills from the movie. A 30x30 ft. projection was also placed outside the façade of the theatre and 30 feet tents projecting the poster of the movie were placed. The event in all engaged 1400 guests.
Commenting on the event, Devinder Sablok, Head-Events, KWAN Entertainment and Marketing Solutions said: "Mausam is shot projecting four seasons in the movie. To enhance the same, we had four lights in different colours which changed from time to time, based on the mood of the people and the movie. We are not engaging in any consumer engagement activities; we thought we would have only one grand event."
KWAN claims that they received feedback from the attendees to the effect that the event created a benchmark in terms of the attention to detail and the clockwork precision with which it was executed.
