Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is organising the 15th edition of Chandigarh Fair, an annual B2C exhibition, from October 29 to November 1 at the Parade Grounds in the city. An in-house team from CII will manage the event.
Vivek Gupta, Marketing Executive, CII, said, "The venue will have 8-9 pavilions comprising of around 100 stalls. We have tied up with embassies of Thailand and Pakisthan, who in turn will showcase best products of their countries at their stalls. Promotions for the event are being done through radio, OOH hoardings, digital mailers, SMS and other media."
"The fair is held strategically before Diwali to boost sales in the region. We are expecting to attract over 100,000 plus visitors during the four days fair which would include prospective buyers from states of Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh," he added.
CII Chandigarh Fair is a trade event for Northern India. Apart from showcasing the latest products and services to potential buyers, the fair is an opportunity for the participants to enter into business dealings with prospective buyers, network with leaders in the industry under one roof, meet agents and get to know more about the culture, heritage and characteristics of the people of Northern India.
The main objective behind the fair is to bring together all those related with architecture related publications, artifacts and murals, arts and interiors, floor and wall tiles, luxury bathroom and kitchen fittings, blinds, curtains and drapes, furnishings, carpets and floorings, false ceilings, travel agents and tour operators, health clubs, wellness and spa centers and much more.
