Prashant Bashyam, Head-Sales and Marketing said, "The event is South India's comprehensive Luxury Lifestyle exhibition showcasing luxury products and services from cars to diamond watches, spa treatments to homes and more. The event was initiated to create a platform for luxury brands and consumers after conducting detailed research on the increase in luxury brand consumers over the past few years."
"The first edition was held in Chennai, which was attended by over 3000 people. The second edition was held in Bengaluru in May 2010. In the third edition this December, we are expecting 200 per cent growth. There will be 65 stalls this year and over 5000 visitors are expected to attend the event.We are also currently open to associating with partners for the event. They need to cater to the luxury or relevant segments" he added.
The by-invitation only event is being promoted to affluent buyers through emailers and personal invitations. They will be sent to over 20,000 people. Five days prior to the event, there will be tickets sold to people wanting to visit the exhibition. Each day is scheduled to have several entertainment activities such as live bands performing, seminars and workshops, which are yet to be confirmed. Last year, the event made Rs 40 crore worth of business. This year, the business is expected to double.
Bashyam said, "We will be holding the next CLS in Hyderabad, Chandigarh and Ludhiana."
