Commenting on the highlight of the event, Joel Almeida, Head - Marketing, Arvind Retail Ltd. said, "We were able to capture the imagination of the citizens of Trichy with unique activities like the eco-friendly ad-bikes and the fashion show featuring international models during the launch. We were able to communicate our promise of ‘International brands and local prices' in a very creative way during the launch."

In order to create excitement about the new store amongst people, four ad-bikes traveled across the city of Trichy announcing the launch of the new store and creating a hype prior to the launch event. A fashion show was conducted in the show window with Indian and foreign models for the first time in India showcasing various brands available in Big Megamart."
The fashion show was witnessed by around 5000 people and the store got around 2500 walk-ins.
