This branding activity will provide the fans with the company of the 9XM's popular animated characters Bade and Chote at their favourite eating joints. This experience will be served through tent cards made available at the various dining joints in Mumbai. Each tent card will have the Bade-Chote comic strip from the 'Bakwaas Band Kar' series for the people to have a good laugh and the 9XM experience while eating out. Besides this, the channel will also run the 9XM Happytizers promo spot dedicated to Bade-Chote's favorite dining joints across Mumbai.
9XM Happytizers is also being promoted on-air through details about the associated restaurants as Bade and Chhote's favourite eating joints in Mumbai. No external agency is involved in this activity. The complete campaign is designed and executed in-house at 9XM.
9XM also recently conducted a flash mob activity across media buying and advertising agencies, where groups of four or five cheerleaders danced to party music in the office premises and started distributing pen drives/sling bags. The duration for the flash mob was about two minutes in each premise. During the activity, a group of hockey stick wielding men entered the offices, headed by a lookalike of ACP Vasant Dhoble. Later, the 'cops' broke into a dance performance to the tune of 'Char baj gaye lekin party abhi baki hai.' After the dance, the group left behind branded mugs carrying the message: 'Party Haq Se with 9XM - Stay connected to music anywhere/anytime with 9XM.'
Speaking on the initiative, Kapil Sharma, VP, Marketing, 9X Media Group, said: "The key objective of our marketing initiatives is to bring the 9XM experience of music & humour closer to our fans and advertisers across multiple touch-points. We have succeeded in achieving this through an array of engaging on-ground activations like the 9XM Party Haq Se campaign at media agency offices, the 9XM Wall of Music campaign at CST Station and now the 9XM Happytizer's property across more than 40 restaurants in Mumbai."
