70 EMG received the mandate on the basis of a pitch process, wherein their concept and creative rendition of Sangam was what differentiated them. Their proposed concept was to bring about the celebratory nature of Sangam as a celebration of togetherness, while moving ahead into the future.
As a run-up to the main event, 70 EMG and SBI organised theme-oriented team building activities and put up posters, danglers, standees, backdrops, entrance arches and sent out mailers promoting the event at the premises in the Andheri, Fort and Belapur offices.
In accordance with the brief from the client, 70 EMG created a vibrant and dynamic set for the show. 70 EMG's in-house set design and décor unit, ‘The Set', came up with the stage setup and décor for the evening.
The main event featured performances by the employees, interspersed with emcee interactions, since this was an annual day celebration and the employees were the stars of the night. To highlight the same, 70 EMG arranged for professionals from the fields of dance, fashion and music to help the participants hone their talent for the main event.
Commenting on the event, Ami Bhatia, Asst. Manager - Projects, 70 EMG said: "SBI Life Sangam has been an established event for the past six years. As this was an Annual Day Event, creating design and content which reflected the celebratory spirit of the event was very important. Moreover, this being our first project with them, we aimed at not only matching their expectations but also setting the standard high in comparison to the years gone by. Needless to say, we successfully managed to do that and we look forward to work with them in their upcoming projects."
Shharad Dhakkate, Vice President - Human Resources, SBI Life Insurance added: "Sangam 2012, our annual day function, was a huge hit amongst the employees of SBI LIFE and I want to thank the 70 EMG team for the great ideation and execution of the event. The flawless execution of the event was well-appreciated by all. Looking forward to working with you on future events."
