This property aims to build a community program which provides a platform to the families wherein industry experts discuss topics on self-improvement, environment awareness, skills development, encapsulating edutainment, communal and social issues. This event is targeted specifically towards women, children and the youth. The event in Pune witnessed a workshop on fruit and vegetable carving and engaged around 1,150 people.
Commenting on the initiative, Nishank Joshi, Deputy General Manager, Corporate Communications Inorbit Malls-India said: "Aikya' was an initiative which came up not just to create shopping centres, but also to go beyond and touch the lives of the people we serve in a more meaningful and fulfilling fashion. Everything Goes! Communications has partnered us for this property at two malls and we are sure ‘Aikya' in Pune too will be conducted in such a way that it endears itself to the catchment."
Talking about the promotion of the activity, Vjay Dewan, Chief Creative Guardian, Everything Goes! Communications said: "This is the third edition of the property in Mumbai and the first edition in Pune. The activities were promoted in societies around the mall wherein 8 x 7 ft. pin-up messages were placed inside the mall and residents could post messages to enhance the point of interaction. The event was also promoted through social media. We are the activation agency for Inorbit Mall and have been associated with them for the past four years."
